Why can't I change the text color of the form field in the "white" version of the Panels template in Webflow?

In the "white" version of the Panels template in Webflow, it's possible that you're facing difficulty changing the text color of the form field due to the CSS styles applied to the template.

To change the text color of the form field, you can follow these steps:

1. Select the form field element: Start by selecting the form field on your page. This can be done by clicking on the form field itself or by selecting it from the Navigator panel.

2. Check the existing styles: Once you have the form field selected, navigate to the Styles panel on the right-hand side of the Webflow Designer. Look for any existing styles applied to the form field, such as font color or background color. These styles may be preventing you from changing the text color.

3. Override the existing styles: To change the text color, you'll need to override the existing styles applied to the form field. You can do this by either modifying the existing style or adding a new style specifically for the text color.

a. Modify an existing style: If there's already a font color style applied to the form field, you can modify it by clicking on the color swatch next to the "Color" property in the Styles panel. Select the desired color for the form field text.

b. Add a new style for text color: If there's no existing font color style applied, you can add a new style specifically for the text color. In the Styles panel, click on the "+" button next to the "Typography" section to add a new style. Set the "Color" property to the desired text color.

4. Check for conflicting styles: Occasionally, conflicting styles within your project can cause unexpected behavior. Make sure there are no conflicting styles that might be overriding the text color you're trying to set. You can check this by inspecting the selected form field element and its parent elements for any conflicting styles in the Styles panel.

5. Preview and publish changes: Once you've made the necessary adjustments to the text color, preview your site to see the changes in action. If everything looks as expected, don't forget to publish your changes to make them live on your site.

By following these steps, you should be able to change the text color of the form field in the "white" version of the Panels template in Webflow.
