Webflow imposes a Collection List item limit of 100 items per list, but by default, the Designer shows only 5. With the Business hosting plan, you can display up to 100 items per Collection List using a few simple settings.
1. Increase the Limit in the Collection List Settings
- Select your Collection List in the Webflow Designer.
- Go to the Element Settings panel (D key).
- Under Collection List Settings, find the "Items Limit" field.
- Increase the item limit to your desired number (up to 100 per Collection List element).
- If your collection has more than 100 items, Webflow requires pagination.
- In the Collection List Settings, enable pagination by checking the option.
- Define how many items to show per page (up to 100) and use the pagination controls (prev/next or numbers) to let users navigate through multiple pages.
3. Duplicate Collection List Elements (Optional Workaround)
If you don’t want to use built-in pagination but still want to show more than 100 items:
- Duplicate the same Collection List element on the page.
- In each one, apply a filter or limit/offset combo (e.g., Offset 0–99, then Offset 100–199).
- This workaround is manual and can be performance-intensive, so use only when necessary.
Summary
To show more than 5 items in Webflow on a Business hosting plan, simply increase the item limit in the Collection List settings to up to 100 items, or enable pagination for collections exceeding this count.
